Apart from the Speedo, that will be a good indication on what the Cruise control is doing.

They are  :y 205-65-15 for now, then they'll be 235-45-17 again still within range

my '95 3er bmw was also out but further up at 75mph, the merc, volvo and old omega were perfect

The V6's read about 3 mph higher around the 70 mark, cant remember what the 4 pots do but shouldn't be as far out as your quoting.  :-\

My TD was pretty far out- maybe 5mph at 40, thereby 10mph at 80 (not that it could get there)

Pissy is very close, 1-2 at 30mph, maybe 3-4 at 70mph.

All Omega speedos I've (electronically) tested at between 2-3mph out over the whole range up to 140mph.

So if reading anything else, wrong speedo config programmed, faulty speedo, or wrong tyre size.

Chances are then that clocks have been replaced with a V6 one then :-\
