Of grandson no2 , at royal hospital Gloucester , been here since 3.30 am , am a bit tired now , and this has to be the least user friendly hospital I've ever visited , opps me its uncomfortable and very short on anywhere people can wait in any sort of comfort , I ended up going and grabbing a couple of hours kip in the car , as being the only comfy chair I could locate at 6 am

and i believe you can even now buy actual mains power wall socket plates with the facility built in......

although it does rather depend what you're doing with it,  most domestic uses of CatV can be reliably achieved using the Ethernet over mains adaptors,  frankly,  a lot less hassle in most cases.....

if you start doing HD video editing and file serving,  maybe you'll need CatV(orVI)I all round,  but below that , for internet, and general media serving ethernet over mains is fine,   (assuming you get decent units,  not the £2 chinese fire hazards )

total time to install, about 10 minutes,  set up time,  less than that.....

i think the belligerent microsoft luvvie is asking which iPads support which version of iOS.

, like the iPhone,   the 3GS only goes up to iOS 6.x ,  for iOS7 you need iPhone 4 or later.   but offhand i think all the iPads will run 7 ,  however,  I don;t have an iPad...  never mind a collection of all generations,  to test this theory with.

the real fun is in north wales.... Rhuallt hill ,  on the A55 ,  used to regularly see knobheads come off the last corner on the bottom  in winter....

At 57mph. :)

he'd have only managed that on the down hill section through stokenchurch/christmas common hill/cutting.

no Jaime,   i would not have been chasing you.......   i'd have been the bloody great Landy110 in front of you towing you upside-down as a surface test.  :D

i got to say....... as a former QA test engineer on the M40 extension.....   you lot are woefully ignorant about tarmac....    and tarmac vs concrete....

i'd take tarmac tyres over concrete,   although they will wear faster,  the water displacement ability will be better, and noise levels will be lower,     wear rates can be varied by using different types of sub-base and top grade,      and varying the bitumen and binder content as well as the mineral grading .

what worries me is the shear force action at the grade layer interface , you could find in hot weather, that the outer skin of the tyres slips on the substructure...  making traction and cornering ability somewhat suspect....    while concrete wouldn't suffer from that, it would be susceptible to stress cracking and shattering in icy conditions if previously cracked...       also,  i'm worried about the thermal input from the brakes ,  probably alright under miss daisy drivers, but Jaime would potentially be in serious trouble.
