I did. Although grinding all the rust from the fitting was probably more effective

Both E64s I've had have given problems with the numberplate bulbs for, I assume, the same reason - randomly I'll get the "*bong* Number Plate Lamp Failure" warning (ah, the BMW *bong*, how I hate thee).. but since it always seems to manage to work for the MOT, I've er.. never done anything about it  :-X

Although I know the reason TBE's blows, as said. Its vibration.

Me too. I’ve had what I think is the same mirror spider for 6 years 😩

One day when I can be bothered I’ll take the glass out and hit him with 40psi or compressed air 😂😂😂


Pm me when you remove the glass, as you will probably need a new glass..... ;D

Hahahaha many times I’ve broke mirror glasses 😢😢😢
Reminds me, must change Battlebus mirror glass.  I stuck it back on its backing a year or 2 ago, but have a new one, when I CBA
