Weight saving?
« on: 24 December 2018, 19:33:36 »

Watched some of the Siverstone Classic races on TV this morning. One saloon car race had 2.6 Capris,MkI and II Escorts,SD1s a Camaro and others including a XJ12C.On board footage from the XJ showed the full wooden dash seemingly complete with all its dials and gauges to still be fitted,so hardly a stripped out racer ::) Surprised they didn't leave the leather seats in there so the driver could stay comfortable while racing ;D

SD1's got naturally lighter with age.  ;D

My fun car is a 2020 Bmw F32 430d M Sport with indicators.
My cruiser is an Audi A6 Avant S Line Black Edition with indicators.

As did all the other cars mentioned.... XJCs were particularly bad.
