Since moving to West Wales, every day is like being on holiday. SWMBO was talking to her dentist yesterday and said this. The dentist told her that she had been here for 20 years and still felt like that.

So to answer the question.

UK - Here or Cardigan coast. although quite like fishing in Scotland also

Doing things type holiday abroad: Skiing Val Thorens. South Western USA, driving around Arizona, Monument valley, Utah.

Doing nothing type holiday abroad: Menorca  :y

Oludeniz for me too Cem... going back again in October, 5th time :)

its beautiful, warm, safe like a big swimming pool..  and the island bays around are very nice for daily boat/speed boat trips.. and safe for driving water go-carts :) :y :y

I have seen many places which are also beautiful but extremely hot..  Ölüdeniz is always a bit windy which keeps you "normal"

I also recommend you to visit İztuzu beach (Dalyan) .. its very close to Ölüdeniz..

For me it has to be Cambodia, the friendliest people I've ever met - the best food I've ever had - not to mention hot, cheap, above all interesting :)

If I were still able then Malta would still feature strongly despite it going downhill in recent years, I love the place :y
Close behind would be Chania on the delightful island of Crete :-*

UK. Gower peninsular and the worms head. Northern Coast of Cornwall. Specifically Padstow lifeboat, Trevose Head.

We were at Gower Peninsula and Worms Head today.  :y Had a cup of tea and a lovely bit of sponge cake in the Bistro. Lovely area to walk around.  :y

I'm off to a log cabin in Trasfynned near Bala week after next, really tranquil place we go to most years. Haven't been abroad for 8 yrs and don't really have a favourite but one of the smaller greek islands sounds like my next target.
