Totalclosure.com
« on: 15 July 2015, 16:15:37 »

Just went to order the Total closure kit from totalclosure.com and the web site is closed.

Have they moved web site or have they gone out of business?

Are there any mods that can be done or any other units on the market that will do the same?

Omega does total closure as standard? Press and hold the lock button, all windows will shut  :y

Which makes it poorly implemented in my opinion; a doubleclick on the lock button would be much more useful.

That's already for deadlocks.

I know, so adding the totalclosure to it would make the feature more usable, rather than have to stand there holding the button and  watching until the windows etc close fully.

I understand what you are saying and for me personally, that would be better too, however if you wanted to leave say a dog in the car, or wanted to leave the windows open (for example 3 inches in this heat) but stop someone opening your car - I can see the other side of the fence.

Can't say I've ever had need to use it, I'll close the windows in the car if required. Rarely leave them open, unless on the drive doing service work

Very useful indeed and is it really that awkward to wait a couple of seconds to close the windows by holding a button ::) :y

IIRC the fella you need is 'Planty' over on VVOC.COM he 'was' Total Closure...

You can possibly adapt the wiring with a Ford delay relay to close the windows etc... when you deadlock the car. It is a very handy feature to have on your motor though. OK you could just stand there with the button pressed until the windows close but its far easier and more convenient (for me) to deadlock the car and have the windows close themselves...

Easy enough to make a module , as the system in in place, just needs tweaking.
