Got my key back today from Martin, he redid the switches for me.  very quick service and didn't even have to re- sync the key to car it all worked great. Once again many thanks I highly recommend his services.

Get is changed before you destroy the rubbers.

If you're handy with a soldering iron, I think the switches are available in the shop.

Is there a guide on how to do this i wonder ?...

I could give it a go with an old Omega key I've got but I'm not sure about soldering such small things..

How much does Martin charge roughly if he's reasonable i'll let someone who knows what their doing to do the job properly.

My cover is fine to be honest, Just say the lock and unlock switches need changing but might as well change all 3

All the replacement covers I have come across are pretty hard TBH.

The soldering is pretty easy if you've ever soldered small stuff before. It is surface mount, but quite large for SM, so a small iron and steady hand are needed.

Will check the tip type on mine before purchasing, Also have a gas one with a sharp tip but that gets too hot quickly...

I'd not use a gas one, a bit too uncontrollable for this application.

I agree, Martin has revamped a number of my fobs and always provides a first class service

Ive used the Gas type (RS) on Fobs, just turn the heat down a bit after its warmed up. What is imperative is a good clean tip, good solder, wet sponge and a decent solder sucker.
