VAUX-COM comes complete with all the hardware and software to connect your PC or laptop computer to almost any Vauxhall car or light van There are two versions of the VAUX-COM tool available. The standard and Pro-Kit.

The VAUX-COM PC / Laptop based diagnostic tool for Vauxhall

Works with almost all current Vauxhall models made from 1997 to 2005

Covers engine, airbag, ABS, alarm, instruments and many more
Reads fault codes from all modules and displays full English text for them
Clears fault codes from all modules
Shows live sensor data as seen by the cars ECU
Allows you to operate relays, solenoids and actuators
Program new keys and remote fobs (pin required)

AND  works on USB --    Whats the price I ask ???????

looks good, not sure how good the software is. Expensive i would imagine  :(

The software looks surprisingly similar to the Opel Tech for the 'cheapo' Tech2. In fact, it looks like the final version of the Opel Tech software. See:

Now I wonder if it will work with the Cheapo Tech2....

Standard Kit - £490 + Vat. Pro Kit  - £540 + Vat

So not cheap. But cheaper than the proper Tech 2

Much cheaper than a real Tech2, but much less capable as well...

If you're after a cheap fault code reader for pre ODBII/EOBD Omegas, the cheapo tech2 lead is probably still best option.  Unless you live near me of course ;)

It shows live data - and has actuator tests so worth the money I would say
