Nope ;) He treats it like every other car..

Although I have done the "rev it, hold it, kill it" thing - it's a very odd sound listening to the engine spin down from 4000rpm with no load and no ignition.. sounds exactly like a turbine slowing.

The RX8 is the devil in disguise, Aaron.

It's waiting for a cold dark January night before demonstrating just how demonic it can be.  :y

PS ....is it still running  the original low compression lump?

Yep, still running the lump that needs a rebuild - I need a Saturday with more than just me available to drive it down there (otherwise getting back from Alton is a pain in the backside on the train).. soon, though, it'll be off for it's rebuild.

£2000 ish....but I think it will be worth it for the look on young Amy's face the first time she hits the 'beep'. :y

The power delivery of the RX8 always reminds me of a  quick two stroke bike from the 1970's.
