Batteries are not so expensive, in fact I have been surprised at the parts pricing.

Also been mega impressed with the MPG  :-[
About £150 on Hellfrauds trade, around £120 from unheard of online shops.

I need to call the dealer about the price of front wheels, though need to check the photos of when Mrs TB trashed those Sportstars, as the refurber said that was absolutely right on the limit of being repairable.  Not convinced mine is as bad.

My 2013 EPC, after converting Rubles to £, implies £480 + VAT for a wheel, but online everyone is £550+VAT.  I'm guessing not huge discounts are available.

Washed & polished the Merc , looks a treat now all tucked away in the garage just before it started raining.😎

Pulled the prop shaft off of the work HiLux - it’ll be a FWD for a week or so whilst I refurbish the prop. Should be a bit quieter and nicer to be in now though  :y

Found the Battlebus, and brought it back here, seeing as the Black Pussy is off the road for a bit.

Whilst walking to find it, I saw a chavved up Omega being driven impressively as it came off a roundabout with a small bit of slide, and accelerated like a scaulded cat.  Then I released in was my Omega ::)

Mrs TB putting electric back into the Omegas battery  :D ;D
I would not let Mrs Builder use my Omega , I've gotten use to it now and can throw it about at speed ,and it stays planted nicely 8)
Mrs builder would have it sliding down the tarmac on it's roof IF she ever got the key  ::)

Mrs Mig rarely drives, but when she does she drives the Omega. She is very reluctant to even sit in the 190 chip wagon, never mind drive it.  ;D

Mrs DTM is a power freak, hence why she wanted a smaller sportier Jag than the XF....I had to restrict her to the low power petrol engine in order to get some life out of the tyres!

Discovered that the wheel couldn't be repaired. Bugger.

Discovered a new one is £650. Bugger.

Discovered, even with discounts, a new one is still £540. Bugger.

What's your preference? Mine has come with General Grabbers all round, which are staying on for now, but theyre going a bit Bobby Charlton.
