iirc 2.2's are ready to go with a stalk, and then turning on with Tech2.
sure its only prefacelifts that needed someone to install a clutch switch

I think so.

iirc only the 2.5 diesel needs a different stalk

is yours the 2.2. petrol or diesel?

yes it's a petrol i looked at the guide and it seems to have this 4 pin connector and for the price it's won't be a big loss if it's wrong!

UK petrols for DBW engines, its 99.99999% it won't.  The 0.00001% accounts for those who have had cruise, but removed it.

just a note: dont asume you have the clutch switch because its a facelift. mine hasn't got the switch (2002). easy enough to get. some one on here is always breaking an omega. Think there about £20-£30 new

Generally, the 2.2 has the switch, the 2.6 and 3.2 don't. It seems more of the 3.2s have if than 2.6, but not much in it
