Three days ago it was 40+ºC and it felt like the concrete could melt my feet. Today it's 19ºC and gloomy.

Then again, three days ago I was in Vegas.

Ah yes! It was claimed that Elvis worked down the chip shop, but that was a lie!  However, he was seen walking out of a 7/11!

Just because he was seen walking out, doesn't necessarily follow that he actually worked there. More proof needed, I think.

I got mixed up and forgot about the chip shop.  I don't think he worked in the 7/11, just was seen walking out.
