And todays "disappointment" which was ordered yesterday isn't actually available in the quantity I ordered.  They can send what they have though, or offer full refund.

Just checking that I can have a partial refund if I take the lower number...
Don’t be silly...

If they give you a partial refund, they won't have any money to buy more stock ;D
In the end, that's worked out fine, they gave me pro rata refund for the ones they couldn't send.  Quick delivery as well :)

Apart from the crisps and chocolate, surely everything needs to be modified to be of any use.

Another dispute that I have open, it had 1 minute to go before I could ask Ebay to step in, and the seller accepts a return for this faulty item. Get a feeling that's automated?
Arsehole seller has received the faulty item, but telling me I'm only going to get a 50% refund due to not having original packaging (which is true, as I binned that the moment it arrived, and the fault didn't become apparent for a couple of days).

Yet more hassle and wasted time dealing with these oppswits.

Seller still insistent that he'll only give me a 50% refund ;D.  I had a feeling it was going to waste my time when he waited until the last minute before I could get egay involved before the mong accepted the return.

Its only a sub £10 item, but there is a principle.

But I maintain that egay is full of such oppswits.

I buy several things a month ,I don't ever recall either not getting the item or getting a full refund ,albeit a few weeks later ::)
and have the hassle of finding another replacement item.
I've not sold anything for about 18 months ,that was my Carlton, that was a ballache
non paying bidder cost me about £15 in fees and a lot of hassle
I do have quite a bit of stuff that I should list on ebay , but i'm not feeling inspired to do so

I've not sold anything on there for a dozen years or more.  Simply because it is full of idiots, timewasters, chancers and so on.

It was worthwhile and enjoyable around 20 years ago, but slowly it deteriorated into what it is today.

Simply not worth the hassle, so I use landfill instead now.

Surprisingly, Ive found Gumtree quite good for selling recently. Local people turn up and give you cash for what you've advertised, without all the aggro associated with fleabay.

Needless to say, egay came down in my favour.

Next up is a "Fast and Free" that should have been here last Friday, containing bits to fix Shitter No2.  Fortunately, we have 2 other crappers, so no need to dig the spade out yet.
