Emissions Fault Codes
« on: 06 July 2020, 17:38:08 »

Good afternoon

The emission warning light on my Vauxhall Omega Estate 3.2 Elite is illuminated. The ODB-II fault finder shows codes 042001 & 043001; both are detailed as "Unknown fault code".

Any help gratefully received, please.

Respectfully

Factory fitted pre cat efficiency codes.

Two solutions:

1. Throw in a can of Wynns fuel treatment or injector cleaner, fill with Shell VPower and drive the car hard for the entire tank. (>240 miles from the tank or you're not trying) and repeat. Light should then go off. Repeat as required.

Or 2. Move the precat sensors behind the main cats.
