Really like these, but then again I've always had a hankering for unusual shooting-brake-type cars. Lynx Eventer is firmly on my Euromillions garage list  8)

Nearly bought a V6 505... Until I looked under the bonnet... Makes the M120 Mercedes lump look compact :D

The PRV V6 is a very good barely acceptable engine, but only in a French car ....

Corrected that for you. The 90degree angle(it was supposed to be a V8) makes it very wide for its limited capacity, and requires a stupidly complicated ignition system for the peculiar firing order. Plus, it doesn't make much power nor is it economical or particularly durable. So it's a text-book example of French engineering ;D

Deposit was a flippant comment, but if you read the advert, £8,500 is as plain as the nose on your face... assuming you haven't sliced it off with an angle grinder ::)

I would argue that it is a proper car, but yes you could buy a new Dacia for that money...

My neighbour in Croydon when I lived there had one of these old tanks, will never be a classic but if someone wants to throw 8 grand away more fool them.
