A friend of mine ran a legacy (saloon) for years when I was in practice with him, we thrashed our cars pretty hard back then, 30k plus/yr (40p a mile will encourage that sort of thing  :-X), always in a rush and often 3 or 4 up. Afaik he never had any issues or costs with it beyond servicing. The interior is a bit "plasticky" but probably no worse than a modern VX or ford, comfy thing too  :y
