Quite some time since I took this test. I think at work (late 80's?) it was packaged as "Belbin".

I have changed slightly since those heady days and am now ESFP-A perhaps explaining why I like posting jokes though I would say it is just sharing. ;D. I remember that Virgin (under Richard Branson) only used to interview managers who were in one of the 16 categories. That saved his managers ending up being all different types and thus the organisation was more successful.

Anyway here is the test link . It takes about 12 minutes to do. Go on find out about your strengths and weaknesses for free!

Actually, its normally deemed that same personality types in many of the categories clash, and do not work well together.

I had to do a lot of research on this, after being forced to do an enhanced version of this when my old boss and I were clearly not having a productive working relationship, and had to learn a new way of dealing with the ****.  I might have mentioned he was a ****.  Still, had the last laugh, after years of supposed underperformance (despite being the one doing the majority of all work, and all the non standard stuff), my only appraisal since moving to a new team got me top marks in this year's appraisal.

Did I mention my old boss was a ****

maybe that is true. I do clearly remember them telling us this when our results were analysed. Don't foget it was managers that they were recruiting so they wouldn't necessarily be mixing with other managers and clashing. I believe the purpose was so the management chain knew how to get results. Here is an example. You have a customer with a problem and you want to get someone to sort it. One type of person will be driven by doing a good job for the customer and thus the company. Another person isn't bothered about customers but is motivated by achieving a result for themselves. So you might say to first one " I have a customer with a problem - could you sort it please? Second one  you might say " I wonder if you could manage a difficult task sorting a customer problem"    . So a message cascading down the management chain just has to be written in one style and you don't need to worry about dealing with someone who is a ******

I had to undergo psychological profiling during my professional life a number of times.

I was always rated as a sponge for quickly absorbing and retaining information and being right of Artila the Hun in all other traits!!  :o :o :o
