Fussy tester... Fibreglass it with a gallon of underseal and call it done ;)
Or take it to a certain establishment for beardy types and Hornby lovers just outside Nottingham, enjoy a chip butty and a brew, and watch the master at work ;D
Which I have a strong suspicion may be the case ;D
I know it, you know it, my mum's dog knows it

Today I replaced wintergarden`s xenons by the original candlelight  :'(. Normally the Caravan has the xenons, but that is not allowed on the 97 model for Tuev, because it don`t have headlight cleaners and automatic leveling.

Monday it is Caravan`s birthday. 20 years old  8) and I am working for his next 20 years...

Happy UK Omega owners!

Of course I will replace the candle lights after Tuev in August or September as soon as possible. When Autumn comes, I need the xenons again.

Got down and dirty inside the rear wheel arches. While its been so dry I thought it`d be good to remove the arch guards,  clean off all the muck and wax oil it to death. Please to report no nasty surprises  :y

Started my wreck up and drove it down some dual carriageway and then brought it back and parked it on the driveway.

Fitted a 2nd hand door catch mechanism to the O/S rear door on the Purple Fiesta.

It doesn't beep at me now, the lights and message have gone and I didn't break any more plastic clips!  :y

Gave up drilling out exhaust bolts around midday, need better drills.

So serviced the lawnmower instead.

not much just cleaned all the doors and boot rubbers.  sprayed water wax in breathers to clean any muck that has got in the rubber breathers out, should help give a better seal nas they softer now. :)

Went to fit the custom made HEL brake hoses (to the kit) only to find that I'd somehow ordered them several cm too short (to the tune of ~10cm). Arse.

There's another £60 down the big hole in the ground I call a kit car! Might as well have bought a boat at this point...
