Looked at the streak of bird cr@p on the windscreen and made a mental note to wash it, as it was obscuring my view. Then forgot all about it and spent the rest of the day fettling the MX5 hood catches and fixing an oscilloscope. ::)

The hood catches or the Oscilloscope? I'll tell you what- guess which of the two was a total success... ::)

reason I asked was 'cos with a hard-top, there's another four catches to wrestle with. I suspect also unsuccessfully.

I'm back to work tomorrow, will find out if the immediate future is middle east, North east, southern UK or redundancy. Will try to send you an e-mail when I know. Have managed to get Rover engine partly built now. Also have bellhousing sorted.

OK. Hope it turns out to be the right option. :y

Regarding the catches, I think a set of these is what I need:

Fixing the scope probably  ;D

Today I shall be crawling around on the floor changing the clutch slave cylinder, and if I'm still up on the roids after that then I might have a look at where the oil is coming from that is smothering the turbo.

Discovered that the centre console makes quite a good improvised can crusher.

Oh, and drank half a can of coke.
