i.ve just got my first omega a 3lt v6 but she cuts out just b4 the fan cuts in at about 95c she has no faults stored and im stuck with this one the vaux garege said thay will play around with the car but at a price any help welcome plz apart from this the omega is agreat car

my mv6 has just started miss fireing no eml light no oil in plug wells i think its a plug or ht lead as the ht leads are quit stiff old can anyone tell me the best place or person to order some magnecore red leads plse or tips on what else the miss fire can be thank you jody

if the crank sens cures the proplam happy driving if not i used card cleaner to test for air leaks spray around intanke pipes when the revs pick up  i tighted up the jubile clip hope this helps

i would check the fuses as it is some thing you can do your self and if it solves the proplam you saved a couple quid im not sure if the air con has a relay some one will correct me no doudt there good like that lol but if it has check that as well

i was going to say valve stems but also could be one of the rings is on the way out if it high millege good luck as for performance could have oil on one of the plugs giving poor spark good luck

my 3.olt mv6 takes about 10 2 15 mins before rising and the fan starts at about the same temp best thing i can suggest is to try running the car with bonnet up from cold and feel when the rad starts to get hot then see if the gauge starts to move that should tell you if its in accrute

james i dont now if this will work or not but have you tried useing a coat hanger to try and hook the door pin and pop up the c locking works on some cars quiet a few actually or to buy u some time c if u can remove ur front grill and if you can reach it you can pop the bonnet it worked on my calibra anyway and disconnect the battery and this should disarm alarm i think good luck if im wrong i hope some one will corrected me before the neighbors start get to mad good luck again jody
