that looks very very nice!!

Mint condition as well by the looks of things, what was wrong with it? did i miss something?

"heating problems" Could be anything, I suppose, but if was an 'easy fix', I guess they wouldn't be letting it go for nowt.

Humm could be a HG fail, or oil cooler...

Is it just me or is there loads of room in that engine bay? - A lot of things seam hidden as well

If it is of any consolation, I had a day like this today. Not with the meega, luckily I was not doing any work on the car today...

All kind of things went wrong today, like an expensive piece of kit that we ordered for a customer was delivered... twice, because someone at our office made a mistake and err... ordered it twice, things like that.

But the icing on the cake was when I decided I needed a rest from all this, went into Starbucks for a coffee, then needed the loo... well the men's was busy, but the disbaled was wide open, so I looked left, looked right, and went for it. As soon as I closed the door there was complete darkness, so I pulled the cord to switch on the light, only it wasn't the cord to switch on the light, it was the emergency alarm for disabled people that need assistance... So a very loud alarm went off, and a few memebers of staff apparently rushed to the door and were trying to force their way in. I opened the door, appologised briefly, and quickly walked out ignoring their surprised looks.

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Cheers Ronnie - its the time it takes dealer to get the parts (doubt they'll stock them - they didn't stock the oil cooler, which surprised me), likely to be Monday.

Sending tunnie to scrappy with some tools tomorrow...

Yup, got me some propper tools!  ;)

Should prove interesting, first time I would have stripped an engine down to get to the oil cooler.

When i took them for a blast down some country roads back my boss's house they soon reliased why i bought it!

Cheap, Well Spec'ed, Quick (ish), brilliantly smooth, silent cabin & very illegal speeds!  :o (on my private track of course ;))

I was at BCA Blackbusche in Surrey a few weeks ago, saw a Y plate Jag X-Type 2.5 V6 80k miles go for 3.5k!  :o

I'd avoid the 75 V6's personally, I hear cambelts on them are a right b!tch to change, 2 belts needed and its a 7 hour dealer job!!  :o :o

Volvo sounds nice.... could get a megga with the same spec for half the price though  ;)

my mum always used to comment on how could i spend soooo much time on my computer, she'd always be asking what I had been doing.

Since she's got one of her own, she's always on it!! Ordering things various shopping bits.... she is amazed at how the time flys!

Sadly though I can't really comment on the 'other half' being keen on the forum, unless my Springer Spaniel counts?  :D
