Aircon drains... Water standard by product of drying the air. Does it eventually stop when the air con is switched off? If yes, perfectly normal and can be ignored :y

Put the tip of your finger in the puddle that the leak makes, and taste it.
If it's plain water then don't worry about it.
If it tastes of anti-freeze, then you have a coolant leak that needs further investigation.

Obviously don't drink the whole puddle unless you like hospitals ::)

I'm not suggesting pouring it into a glass and enjoying it along together with packet of crisps with your mates!
A tiny smear of the stuff on the tip of your tongue is a quick, easy, safe and efficient diagnostic tool.

Each to their own - but I personally think the risk is far too high http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylene_glycol_poisoning (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ethylene_glycol_poisoning)
I also think that what you can taste is the 'bitterant' added by responsible manufacturers to make it taste nasty - pure ethylene glycol tastes sweet which is why it can be so dangerous to children and animals.

Ac drains. Normal, as said.
And a taste can be spat out. Obviously don't swallow it. ::)

I didn't taste it but my coolant is definiately less and less. What link is there between coolant sys and aircon, please?

None. That's how you tell which system the fluid us from.

Assuming your coolant is the proper mix of course.
