Meanwhile over in Brussels among our new crop of Dear Leaders we have two who have convictions, one who lost a vote of no confidence in his last job and one who is presently under investigation for misappropriation of public funds!  ::)

Yay!  :D
Why on Gods earth would anyone want to stay in a union with that bunch of thieving shysters. It beggars belief. ::)

That was quick, someone on here or elsewhere got a bargain  :)

Yes - Me.

This'll be the 3rd one I've had. Every time I replace an old one some oppswit runs into the back of me. Once in a Maccie-D's car park and the next time a Dominos pizza delivery moped. Wonder how long this one will last.

May only have been £40, but the paint usually comes in at more like £200.
Seems like fast food has been your undoing then. :)

Took SWMBO for her appointment this morning. Very impressive, multi-story car park just next door, 4quid for a couple of hours if you have an appointment letter. Talked to the nurse who was taking wifeys details and she said the place is great for patients but staff facilities and parking etc. are ill thought out. Small staff rooms, nowhere to take breaks and losing staff at quite a rate. Even wifes consultant wasn,t very impressed when i asked him. Shame.

The BBC news earlier said that it was random attack and the woman didn't know her murderer.  :o

WTF is happening?  ???  >:(
Probably refused to hand over her expensive smart phone. That,s all it takes these days.  :(

That's down to integrating the hand brake with the rear calipers... Discs heat up in use and expand. You then park up and apply the handbrake which clamps the pads to the expanded disc. As the disc cools, the handbrake pressure reduces (the disc effectively becomes thinner) and eventually cannot hold the car. Early facelifts were prone to calipers seizing as well, which cooks the wheel bearings. Which is nice ::)
I stick mine in gear, just in case. :y

Do you mean crankshaft sensor or the whole shaft?  :o

Well, I've brought somebody here today, and must say, what a nice shiney new place, checking in by a touch screen,  comfy chairs, free WiFi, Lovely staff as usual.  And bus journey door to door (guided busway)

Still lots of bods wandering about with a piece of paper/file trying to look like they are working.
Will find out for ourselves on Wednesday, as i have to take SWMBO for her check up after her triple bypass op.

My thanks to all for advice. My Owner's manual arrived today, it does mention and depict a 3.5mm AUX input socket, sadly my car is not fitted with it. I wonder if I could retrofit one? The head unit is simply labelled CD30.I have a CD30 MP3 head unit spare from my donor Astra.
Seems a bodge to me that GM fitted the jack socket in that aperture under the unit Terry. Also retro fitting one seems to be quite a faff, so i,m led to believe. :-\

Euro on the point of collapse?  Have you got a link to that? You have me worried!

Don't panic!  :o

Mark Carney doesn,t mention that in his anti-brexit rhetoric.  ;)

£5 on ebay ::)

That would make each of Terry's radios worth £0.50.
Optimistic, I think.
I meant the owners manual  :y

Vectra C, certainly the later ones, have all the trip and vehicle settings managed via the head unit. Sure, you can throw in any old head unit with an adapter, but don't be surprised if things stop working as expected  ;)
do the Vec c radio units have a 3.5mm jack socket  :-\ so Terry can plug in his iPhone 10, MP3 player walkman cassette  :-\
Don,t think so. My 08 SRI doesn,t anyway. Is it the CD30 unit Terry?
