We discussed the possibility of scrapping TBE, as I doubt Countrywide/Flogas are ever going to fix the pump at Banburyshire, mostly because they are a bunch of useless self-abusers.  She has no other viable options for LPG, so she might end up with a tractor.

Would it have been cheaper to have them re-furbed, and a colour change.

why scrapping  :o
surely it would get good money if sold to someone who lives near LPG outlets
if it is just down to fuel running costs ,buy a LPG tank and transfer pump
what's the worst that could happen  ::)

Its an Omega, its worth more in baked beanz tins.  Cant be doing with the hassle of selling if truth be known.  And its getting a tidy list of summer jobs - steering idler, cambelt kit, front sensor etc.

Its not decided though. She likes it, I like it, but its reliant on Flogas fixing a pump that errored last summer. And that's looking less likely.  Being a 3.2, it just ain't economical enough, and a change of lift share means a significant jump in mileage.

I'm not sure removing the weight of the Irmscher kit would help improve the MPG OR increase TB's incentive to keep TBE  ;D

Well I was going to attach standard parts back on (the scrap / rubbish items behind my shed)  ::) ;D

Anyway, the real startling point here is this.....
I like it

TB's first ever admission that he likes a Facelift Omega, anytime soon he'll be saying how much he likes the soft touch buttons and switches and the fact they don't rust....

Hopefully stopped the coolant leak and topped up with antifreeze. and despite my testing the alarm horn out of the car and finding it working it never did work again when I put it back on the car. so in went another horn I've had for years and when I deliberately set the alarm off it tooted like it should so im happy. just the oil/air/fuel filters to sort now with a couple of other items and it should keep going for a bit longer with any luck..
