Fuse?
Welcome to OOF
I started using the blind when I realised that it may be not working, but without the blind it does'nt react at all to anything.....
Is this a myth or have I got one that doesn't work? I've read somwhere that the Elites are fitted with an automatically dimming rear view mirror. I'm a bit confused because I use the rear blind at night and it does the job. There is however a small senser type thing in the rear view mirror but it defo doesn't dim when I get headlights in it.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Thanks....
God damn I always get caught out wit that... Sorry fella, what I said was for the v6
Hi mate,
When my crank sensor failed I just tie wrapped the new one up the brake lines and next to the ABS module, works a treat and is plenty clear of the manifold, no problems at all bolting it to the lump.
Personally I would have it out and route it the same
The barge's are funny this right, I've just put a list of things right on mine and there are still some things to do, nice and cheap tho!!
Who knows?!?Thanks.
Your car looks great!
 Funny 5hit!!
The fuse is out and is staying out for the time being, self levelling offers nothing for me and my car usage...
This has been a woe from day one, the rear sits at different heights, passenger side is lower than drivers - springs are all good, suspension is in excellent nick (replaced around 1.2yrs ago). I've pulled fuse 27 which will stop the unit, will see how that goes.If the fuse is still in and you disconnect them the pump will run continually, as evidenced when Jim replaced his self levelling with irmscher shocks. The system will continually run trying to set the correct level. :-/
Now, what happens if I just disconnect the connectors from the rear suspension, will there be any safety issues?
Cheers
Dont know if this should be here or in general chat.
Anyway, i see lots of threads relating to cam cover gaskets, what are the tell tail signs that says they need changing, is it something that is done par for course every so often.
It would be interesting to know what to look for.
