« on: 24 May 2019, 22:27:41 »

my neighbour has a renault laguna with a 1.5 diesel engine. he was attempting to take a metal pipe off that goes across the top of the engine & also has a rubber hose attached to the metal pipe . its held on with a metal spring like clip. i have never seen one like it & try as he may it would not come off. is there a special tool that is meant to remove it.

I think those clips are one way use only, probably easier to cut it off and fit a jubilee clip instead
