Omega General Help / Problem with the 3.2 Elite

While driving (enthusiastically) the battery light came on and when i got home on idle the engine wasnt running level.. Will upload a video of the engine at idle.. 

Any ideas what could be the cause of this problem

... In such a short time as well.. I'll let the pictures do the talking. Price aside obviously but those figures are  very very good compared to any Omega. I know it's not really fair to compare side by side but thought I'd share, after seen these figures I could almost live with the BMW badge. ... This probably goes for all new cars Audi, Mercedes etc just haven't looked at any of them.

Was just going to chuck something in the boot and saw these all over the Elite 

Their not on any other car, Checked the silver 2.2 also nothing not one of these things 

Can only think its either a wax, polish or sealer or something I've put on the paint or even gliptone leather scent drawing them.

Yep its cheap and nasty but i must admit i was surprised with the video quality considering its price.

General Car Chat / Dilemma..

Have promised I'd take 3 members of the family to somewhere some 240 miles there and back in the 3.2 (with leather interior) which wouldn't be a problem apart from "the dog" aye yeah it's a small lap dog but still they do have sharp nails and not forgetting the teeth  ... I've tried getting around bringing the dog but its either bring the dog or shit hits the fan...., so my question is how to transport 4 people (me included) and a small dog in a Omega saloon... I've tried mentioning the boot which didn't go down too well.. So the only solution would be in the rear centre if by the windows will most likely go for the windows scratching the hell out of the door card.

Anyone know of anything that could securely hold a King Charles size dog in the centre rear so it doesn't jump about and just encase be waterproof you never know  and not too expensive.. Have considered hiring a car like in Top Gear  but I'm pretty sure animals arn't aloud I'm them.

Not sure which section to put this in as its kinda car chat and not
