Yep, self isolation will be a long boring business! :( :(

What with all the TV soaps running down their recorded episodes and even stopping them ( BBC's Casualty and Holby City for instance) the television output will be crap.  All there really is now are the constant "news Specials"!! ::) ::) :P :P

Amazon prime. Stuff comes next day.

With a firestick or similar gizmo, access to hundreds of thousands f more hours of “ entertainment”. How to occupy their time is apparently a huge issue for some folk during the current 15 day lockdown in Spain. I think some folk lack basic imagination

I love watching catch up for all the history and engineering type programmes, such as on the Yesterday Channel, but I refuse to watch many box sets of trash, let alone the episodes of Love Island, and I would sooner die first ;D ;D ;D

The fact that shite like 'Corrie'  is not being broadcast is  a gift from God.

Rejoice. :y

Yes. I fired up my fire stick yesterday and watched a couple of episodes of Clarkson and Co in the grand tour. Same old shite but better than 'Find a new place down under/in the country/in the sun'.

Yes Opti, but those soaps are great escapism in half an hour, so now we must all face reality of watching politicians announcing this and that.  What would you prefer? ::) ::) ;D ;D :-* :-* ;)

Seriously though, I will be updating my brain with books and articles on history, let alone watching every documentary on the subject - along with those on engineering, law and order.

I have also been "deployed" to provide tuition to my local grandsons using a load of electronic and physical homework their schools have provided; well until I self isolate! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;)

So life will be far from boring thank goodness and I will be thinking of all the great people out there looking after us and our nation! 8) 8) :y :y

Soaps......piss poor acting combined with a woeful script. I'd rather have sex with Ann Widdecombe. :) :-* :-* :-*

Give me a thought-provoking documentary any day.

I've been watching Mark Thomas the political comedian on YouTube.
I don't recommend it if you are not slightly anti-establishment.
