Under normal circumstances, that would be a big yes...but we've been shielding from day one and have only broken cover a few times for odds and sods. Not sure wether this one will actually go ahead, and on a personal basis I would need to think about the risk if it did.....sorry to be a pussy :-\

Took the VXR8 through our shitty one horse town and scattered the Batflu dodgers...amazing what 650 ponies will do in a confined space. Then back home to shift the fleet around to make space for tomorrow, as Autofarce are coming to fit a screen on the white Omega, and hopefully they won't nause it up.....hopefully! ::)

My 3.2 Elite has 245k on the clock, runs perfectly and oil consumption is minimal.....and with a few minor upgrades it's still a great driving car :y

Omega General Help / 2.5 and 3.0 ignition coils.
« on: 06 June 2020, 21:50:11 »
Just a quickie.....does the coil pack for the 2.5 fit the 3.0,it's just that there seems to be two types of plugs, oval or square and different positions of the plugs...TIA :y

Same here,Eibach springs and Bilstein B4 shocks.....yes slightly firmer, but handles better. Also Irmscher springs and B4's also a good combo....and for me the better :y

Agree James, they are starting to go up in price, I was offered £1500 and the price of a train ticket home for my white 3.0 at the VBOA show last year. I'm not in the market to sell any of them and can't see that changing anytime soon. ::)

Omega General Help / Re: Nurse requires Cambelt!
« on: 01 May 2020, 08:20:45 »
Just thinking back,I'm looking at maybe 9 years ago on the 3.0 but only 11k on mileage, both 3.2s 21k and 39k respectively but again could be 6-9 years....as you know I don't hold back on the money side, but it's all the time spent getting the cars sorted over the years and the cambelt issue sort of got by me.I had it all planned out to get them done this year and have stashed all the parts to get them done...but the batflu came along and stuffed that plan.  ::)

I'm hoping that's true,as my three are out of time in a big way.....mileage not a problem, but can't remember if they have been done at an intermediate interval.... think Daz, JamesV6 and Serek may have a hand in all three....just lost in the mists of time. :-\ ::)
