Looking to change the screen on one of the Omegas.....and was looking around online for the fitting kit. There seems to be an upgrade available to replace the old six piece kit with a two piece one,question being has anyone had a screen fitted with the upgrade,and if so have they had any problems with it? tia

Having attended also,I did think that we were a bit tight on available space,unlike previous venues. That's a big old airfield,but as Keith says there were clubs that had bigger plots and fewer cars,I think they will have to sort this out for next year....that's if we go back there or move on to another venue.

I pre paid,£19 which covered both days,plus £90 for the onsite hotel....didn't fancy doing the 80 mile drive up twice over the two days,plus  there's going to be the end of day piss up,no doubt

Going to bring one of the Omegas,the VXR8 can stay at home,as the last time I took it to the VBOA there was very little interest in it. But the very small number of Omegas that were there saw a steady stream of lookers.

I think Terry is right about the four hoses,and apparently this is what has happened,as Serek did mention something about a vacuum leak because of one of the pipe ends not being very tight...possibly slightly split......I wasn't paying much attention,as usual but he did say they would have to be secondhand,that much I do remember. The car is running fine for the time being and can wait a week or two as its got to go back in for the crankshaft seal,and I may have found the bits needed by then....or not!! Thanks to everyone for the advice,and this goes to show how the new spares situation is getting a bit grim, and relying on secondhand parts is going to get harder as the prices are getting silly.
