Credit cards are devil's work...

A valuable tool if paid back in full every month.......which I do.

However, I don't believe credit cards should be made available for women. Same goes for the vote.

I had the same when I moved house and a utility company sent my final bill to my old address, then wondered why it went unpaid.

Contacted the utility and resolved the issue then advised the debt collectors that sex followed immediately by travel was their best option. Didn't get any further hassle.

Women tend to believe that money spent using credit cards is not 'real money' but 'play money'

Credit cards are the reason the average British woman owns 200 pairs of shoes.

I own one pair for everyday use and another pair somewhere in a safe place, just in case.

My daughter owns 30 pairs of trainers alone, never mind the shoes & boots. Apparently the trainers ranged in price from £175 - £500 a pair.
She doesn't own her own home.

Then there was the £1200 Burberry coat, the Argentinian leather jacket (price undisclosed so far) a pair of those shoes with the red soles (god knows how much),  and mustnt forget the Arsenal season ticket -£thousands I should think.
Rent is over 2 grand a month. How much of a mortgage would need that amount as a monthly repayment ?

Earned a decent salary until 3 months ago. Now jobless and living on savings. 2 grand a month for a 1 bed, 3rd floor flat, is madness to me, but the market value of the flat is over £700,000, so saving a deposit for that while paying over 2 grand in rent isn't easy.
Buying all those shoes and clothes doesn't help at all of course, but that's women for you.
