why the upgrade? if there is nothing wrong with yours  :-/

hence i still have my 2.2, nothing is really wrong with it, it just keeps going.

my dilemma exactly!! nowt wrong at all with mine!1 and its lower mileage than the one im thinking of buying!

It does sound very nice indeed, although slightly expensive, however, you need to find out prices in Spain, could be about the right money. Sounds like you want it, I know I do! :y

TDs have a premium, and estates have a premium.  That said, £1500 is quite a lot I reckon, particularly as you imply it has high mileage.

well went to see it, and it is exactly what i want if you ignore the bent front wing,
the cracked and badly repaired rear bumper
 the scratches on every panel,
 the damaged front bumper
absolutley filthy manky interior!
I reckon it needs at least 750 spent on body repairs :o
to make it a halfway decent car,
aircon doesent work but prob wants regassing,
but mechanically perfect apart from the tailpipe has rusted away
drives absolutley spot on, and is quite pokey even tho it hasnt been chipped yet!!
reason its like it is??
it lives on a farm, which has a half mile bumpy rutted track uphill all the way to get to the farmhouse,and is a typical farmers car!!
offered them 800 as is and will wait for the call ;D
and continue looking!!
