Sounds like the car "thinks" it in gear and not in park/neutral..

Omega General Help / Re: MOTs extended for 6 months
« on: 26 March 2020, 11:45:36 »
Going to be a lot of the cars literally stuck in the gutter with broken springs/ ball joints.

I understand the "keep safe" advice, but if your car is due test and making a noise,  cancelling any repair work you had booked because of this extension is madness as ive experienced this week.

The perios of 6 months seems excessive too, unless they review this as time passes.

Test stations will have trouble clearing the backlog as everyone will leave it right to the end of the extention period.

My brother today said that Netflix have reduced the picture quality.

Seems You Tube have too to stop Internet from breaking.

Who would have thought.

Isnt Gen from the IT Crowd looking after the internet in that black box with the flashing light on it? ;D

General Car Chat / MOT failure listings by vehicle.
« on: 24 June 2019, 17:55:45 »
Someone posted a link (Think it was on here) which showed the mot failures of each vehicle by manufacturer and model.

I thought it was a handy website for assessing future vehicle purchases but forgot to add it to my favorites.

Anyone remember where it is?

Internet is great, but if you want cold hard facts regarding common vehicle problems, this site was ideal.

I think in this case, the drivers age was taken into consideration. being a young lad working for a dubious employer.

Had it been an experienced driver, the situation would have never arrived.
