This winter the lamp leveling light came on. Looked at it today. The rod going into the sensor itself are lose.
Price her in Norway: 352 pounds... :o
That's 1/4 of what i paid for the car.
Part number: 93197514.
Where do you guys buy these parts? Found one on ebay for 220 euro but that will almost be as expensive when i have to pay shipping and vat.

add some "all-thread " threaded bar
if it is just the arm and nipples loose :)

I don't think i explained properly. I mean the plastic arm going into the sensor itself not the arm between.

the arm that forms part 4 ,falling out the side of he sensor :-\

Looks quite nice for a used part.

I broke both of mine on the silver estate last year and replaced them with used off e-bay. I am about to scrap that car, maybe I should retrieve them.

I made a holding bracket out of an aluminium piece and it has lasted for over 2 years AND I live in Finland as you may know we have pretty bad weather from time to time :P

.
I definitely would, easy £20 Inc postage each

It's worth taking these parts of if you are scrapping the car.
Too bad that car in perfect working condition have to be scrapped because of a little expensive part.
It's getting quite hard to come buy the rear brake shields. These are prone to rust away after a few years since they salt the roads here during the winter.
The dealer can't deliver these anymore even when it's a high demand. The Omega are still very popular in Norway because it's rwd and we have snowy winters.
-
The HB Viva club have recently got some brake shield plates re-manufactured. That went out of production in 1970. The Omega went out in 2003, so at that rate we should see the ABS getting re-manufactured back plates in a mere 40 ish years!
Saw a pair sell on ebay for a tenner, once, I forgot to bid :o :'( :'(

Park it in the garage and hope it will be valuable one day :P
I also had a hard time getting the rear shock absorbers. No one had them in stock. I ended up ordering two straight from the factory through my job. 2-3 weeks delivery (Monroe). Working at the biggest car part storage here in Norway so I can monitor what we have in stock. I guess a lot of parts to these cars will not be restocked when we are out.
-
That happened to one of my old Omegas, just put a couple of rubber bands on it to hold it in place. They lasted a couple of months and I just put new ones on it again.
-
The level sensor is in the front?

Buy a used one from eBay for £30 in the UK. Add the metal plate as shown if required.
