The Liverpool players simply aren't paid enough to encourage them to perform.

I mean, how are they going to afford the repairs to their 2001 Ford Mondeo with the pittance they receive each week?

They are certainly never going to be able to join the property ladder.

I feel sure that some of the players would be better off on benefits.
