As per title, the light doesn't come on display when I press eco mode button, what should I check?
-
Does the aircon work?
ie is the compressor engaged with the light off?

The compressor would usually always kick in, although I was having issue getting cold air out it, the pressure was ok last time I checked. I did have to top it up a few times last year, seemed to hold a charge for a while after that. In saying that the eco-mode button always worked.

That doesn't answer the question...
Would and usually are quite subjective...
It either works or it doesn't ;)
-
Whether the air con works or not doesn't affect the operation of the ECO light IME.
I think the issue is probably in the climate panel - defective button or light.

Presumably a Tech 2 session would narrow it down... :-\

Eco, just switches compressor off, so need to see if compressor is working,
Engine running is the compressor going round, Eco switch press, see if compressor stops or starts, also compressor won't run if not sufficient gas.

True, but even not working, the button should still work as expected. ;)

Also don't believe it will run if ambient air temp is less than 4 degrees - to stop the system freezing.
