Omega General Help / Silly question I expect .....

but one I don't know the answer to....

What datums are used to declare an omega "level" ...

Some know that both my garage approach (not big enough to be called a drive !), and the road outside the house, have a significant slope. If I'm to properly check the gearbox oil and the diff oil levels the car needs to be level...

Where do I place the spirit level to achieve this in both fore & aft and side to side aspects ?? Side to side I'm guessing is not too critical so maybe front/rear bumper top edges... but fore/aft ?? sills?? door trims ?? boot floor ?? Anyone any suggestions ??

As said .. a known good AR35 with flexplate & TC (as I don't know how much is damaged), we won't be back from Scotland for 2 weeks so no huge rush, but to procure a good item I'll pay up front and sort out getting the box to me at a later stage if needed.

Typical ... we leave tomorrow towing the tin-tent to Scotland for a 2 week holiday... just been trailered home by Green Flag with a major gearbox failure .... no warning at all .. stopped at the bank to pay in a cheque, came out, started car, went to pull away ... MASSIVE grinding sounds, terrible vibration, no movement at all .... knock it into neutral .. it took 4-5 seconds to react with a horrible squealing tinny sound .... so looks like I'm looking for a known good AR35 + flexplate + torqueconverter .. and someone to help me change it at the roadside.

Can't even put it on the ramp at the moment as I need to get the tin-tent out, luckily we have a friend who has a "spare" LR discovery that he will lend us for 2 weeks.... so we WILL go on holiday ... just a tad late by the time we sort our act out.

As the title really .. the black box/PCB/switch gear that controls the sunroof on a FL please, willing to purchase a complete PCB/motor if that's the only way you'll sell, but must be in proven excellent working order ..

As the title really .. sunroof has started being stupid .. opens perfectly well but can take anything up to 30-40 presses and up to half an hour to close.. which is pretty useless when it starts to rain !! stripped it down and cleaned it all as per the guide .. no difference .. so looking to replace the motor controller as a one piece job ..

Omega General Help / Headlight washers

Facelift headlight washers .... on an Irmscher bumper .... are they fixed the same as an "ordinary" bumper

I can't find anything in my version of the EPC

Nearside one is held in by a sort of large U-shaped clip that slides between a lug and the inside of the bumper to hold it in position... off side one has nowt and the washer just keeps moving around.

Can't be more than a quid or two from the stealers but I was "hoping" to go in armed with a part number ....

Anyone any ideas what they are called or any other useful info please ??

Can anyone advise if the self-levelling suspension pump from a 2000 3.0 Elite is the same as a FL 2001 3.2 Elite ??

James might have a 3.0 one available to me if it's the same
