Bose equipped car worth going for?
« on: 10 June 2007, 13:49:06 »

Hello, I've just joined and I'm looking to buy an Omega estate, and I need a bit of advice please chaps. Is it worth being picky and going for an Elite to get the Bose system? Is it a notch above the usual run of the mill audio that most cars have? My only exposure to Bose is a quick listen to a system installed as standard in an Audi A2- it DID sound pretty awesome......  :)

I have it in mine and think it's very good for a factory fit system - the sub fits on the nearside cubby hole in the boot. You could get deeper and more bass using an aftermarket system - but at the expense of load space - so it depends on what you're after ...

for a standard fit system it is very good indeed, it was one of the reason i bought my Eilte.

Saying that mind you i took the standard amp out shortly after and replaced it with an Alpine unit and that boosted the performance considerably
