and SWMBO served a woman today that had 10 cases of beer, bottles of vodka & a load of party type food ...... some people are too stupid.
We should have/need a tighter lockdown .... too many people out & about for no proper reason.
she might have a thirsty husband at home  ;D
Mrs Builder is grounded due to asthma and MS , so i'm shopping
saw one woman empty a trolley full of perishable food into her car then go back and Que up
Me and my wife are taking a trolley each separately around Waitrose once a week.  You'd watch us both go to the same cat and think we were crafty idiots too?
Well, her list is everything her parents want, and my list is everything we need.
Probably the person returning is doing someone else's shopping. Going to .waitrose instead of Aldi, because wife's parents have very fussy wants that only Waitrose can offer, and Aldi is 5 miles and Waitrose 1, so that would be an unnecessary journey according to my wife. Costing twice what it normally does.

We have everything delivered now , our meat delivery turned up on pushbike yesterday , our baker & butcher have teamed up together it's brilliant might cost a few quid more but no picking up unnecessary items in the supermarket, fruit & veg delivered too + milk & tinned items. SWMBO has enough cleaning materials in one of the sheds to clean the whole town if required.

Not at all . I have to get shopping for several vulnerable family members ,
which, due to limitations/restrictions on quantity means several trips to different shops ,
queuing with lepers ,stupid people and tramps   ;D
and yes , i've found the oldies want specific brands etc ,even though there's a war on  ;D

I did use a local farm shop for meat and potatoes before ,now it's swamped with people, low stock
some people doing veg box deliveries to make cash (which in these times I understand ,and it's a good idea)

now supermarkets have re-stocked ,a return to 24 hour opening would help ,
plus extra jobs , less queuing would reduce risk of infection  :-\

The oldie I shop for is very unfussy. She is just grateful to have a handsome young man running around after her.  :)
