Pointless. One car does all. Therefor, big fast saloon. Or Estate, if the back end behaves.

Jack of all trades, master of none. Although its pretty good in most respects, but you'll never get it to go as well or handle like a decent sports car...   ...but then what do you expect for a couple of grand ;D

Apart from anything else, I won't fit in a sports car too well. One mans barge is another mans sports car.
Or, one mans sports car is another mans roller state. Which ever.

Most cars have a sports element, or they wouldn't go over 70 and take three weeks to get there.

A mid-life crisis, Mr Emd. I'm currently having one myself.

But what is the alternative?.......stop having sex......get an allotment....... join the Morris Marina owners club and talk about what great cars they are and how they should still be made today. :'(

Pablo Picasso reputedly said......" Die as young as you can but leave it as late as possible".......Good philosophy. :y

That's why i'm not around much recently  ;D ;D ;D
The missus accused me of neglecting here  ::)
As you can tell, i'm off and she is at work  ;)

Anyway, about cheap sporty cars

If you can handle front wheel drive, you could do a hell of a lot worse then a VW Corrado if you can find one that hasn't been hammered / chaved up too much  :y
