Title: World of records
Post by: STEMO on 04 May 2018, 18:09:26
Watching the BBC news at the moment. Has anyone notice how sensationalist it's become lately with irrelevant 'records'? Tonight, women who didn't get the letters to attend for a breast cancer scan have made a record number of calls to the helpline. Errrr......yeah.....because we've never had such a large f**k up with letters not going out before  ;D Temperatures this weekend will be a record for an early May bank holiday. When the latest royal baby was born, he was presented on the steps of the hospital in about four hours......a record.
Also.......when did 25 start being reported as 'a quarter of a century'? Does that make it sound much longer, so more sensational? 40 years is now 'four decades'. Stuff and nonsense and shite.  :)

This was done by the UK Met Office when they went over to digital temperature measurements and records in 1980. Before that earth temperatures don't exist in their world and therefore it is best to assume that Earth was at -273oC or there abouts and no life or history on Earth existed. ;D ;D ;D This then constantly shows record post-1980 record 'highs' to 'illustrate' the danger of climate fraud, low records also don't count unless they can spin for a climate fraud reason. Most of these temperatures are beaten where in the UK we have been recording temperatures since 1659AD as thermometers have been reliably calibrated using melting ice and boiling water for 32 and 212oF calibration. The only major change has been going over from band stand temperature stations to Stevenson screens which were invented in 1864 by Thomas Stevenson (father of writer Robert Louis Stevenson) and adopted by the Royal Meteorological Society in 1884. Stevenson screens means the temperature readings are more accurate than the old band stand stations from 0 to up to about 1oC.

Most post-1980 'sound bite' records should be taken with a pinch of salt for the bullsh*t they are as they are almost always beaten by pre-1980 readings with the 1930 being the most recent which was generally a bit hotter than now but it doesn't suit the climate fraudsters or their political master beneficiaries (most UK, in fact Western politicians have major investments in very profitable taxpayer subsidised climate fraud industries (owning land with wind farms is a favourite one like the Cameron and Clegg families do) where you can get typically 8-10% safe investment returns in this 0 to 2% safe returns ZIRP world. The head of Occidental Petroleum Armand Hammer, Soviet Russia and the Gore family connections and wealth are worthwhile reading and only touched upon in this Wikipedia entry.

Please continue to generously fund the climate fraud with your £500+ each per employee taxes per year as saving you and polar bears from all frying to death imminently is an expensive business that only the highly subsidised climate high priests and their political gods can save you from. :o :o :o Please be environmentally aware and do your bit by helping to starve plants. :-[ :-[ :-[
