Does anyone know how to leave feedback if you have a dispute open?

oppswit seller hasn't sent the item because its "not in the warehouse", yet marked it dispatched shortly after I ordered it 3 weeks ago. Obviously hoped I wouldn't notice, because made no effort to contact me, and now claims there will be a delay whilst they order it in.

best to NOT leave feedback until any dispute is resolved
fear of negative feedback motivates sellers to resolve an issue
at least the item was lost BEFORE it entered "the Bermuda Brackley triangle" for once

I recently made a risky purchase of a 4000 liter (3x2x0.75 meter) pool from eurocarshyte via ebay and all went swimmingly  :D ;D

Its under £30, not fussed if I get it back or not, but like so many suspect sellers, there is a hint of blackmail that a resolution will only happen if I am kind with feedback.

I don't play that game.


What I don't want to do is lose the ability of leaving feedback once the dispute is closed.

you won't in my experience
once the case is resolved and closed you should be able to leave feedback
your item gets removed from purchase history and appears in cancelled orders etc at the bottom once resolved.
you can't leave a negative within 10 days IIRC
