engine warning light coming on whilst driving

having fixed previous problem with fuel starvation i now have the engine warning light coming on and wondered if anyone could help
when it comes on the car cannot excelerate and as soon as its off its fine
any help much appreciated

have tried to do it but doesnt seem to work
in the picture it shows little white connections in plug holes the third one up in mine is missing would this make a difference
or is there another way lol

In which case, get it on a code reader. Undoubtedly be a 64 (and a 92, which can be ignored).  A nice drive up the A46 to West Bridgford would see it on Marks DTM Calib's tech2 :y

Needs a code reader on it but in the meantime check every vac pipe including the connection to the Vac pump on the back of the block.

Really? I'm sure I've read that engine in a Vectra before with my cheap clone reader.

Really? I'm sure I've read that engine in a Vectra before with my cheap clone reader.
Vectra B is probably OBD2 compliant... an Omega with that lump almost certainly isn't  :-\
