Sun roof
« on: 22 May 2015, 12:41:46 »

Last owner had removed the sunroof fuse  ::)
Put the 5 amp fuse in and it blew straight away !
I put a 10 amp in and it works fine  ??? Apart from it won't
close unless i hold the deflector Down .
I've greased it all up and done 2 resets so why is it blowing
the 5 amp and why won't it close without assistance ?

The rack and/or channels are probably full of muck or rust. It's probably worth checking the condition of the gear on the motor spindle too.

Ok cheers nick , ill have to have another look . Just wanted to see why they removed the fuse , but at least its working now . Unless its got the ghost sunroof syndrome  ::)

I'd guess its been closed a long time , just a slight just scab on the tips of the deflector ... plus the drain holes are clear  :y
