Firing Order
« on: 15 June 2007, 17:20:04 »

Bought a project car from ebay with a suspect dis pack, just stripped it down and removed the plug leads and this is how they came off the dis pack :-/ surely this is not correct, shouldn't 2 and 3 be the other way round :question

Pretty sure the engine layout on your drawing is wrong, without looking at any data I'm sure that 1 2 3 are on the drivers side from front to back and nearside it's 4 5 6....   cant speak for the DIS pack, I trust what it says on the moulding though...

No doubt i may have the engine layout wrong its just how they correspond to the dis pack that looks suspect to me :-?

back 3 dis connections as you look into bonnet will come from drivers side.

Front 3 dis connectors take their lead from passenger side.

At work so cant access your piccy....
