I know their are a fair few on here including one or two closet fans. Well the good news for you is that after getting together, for real, as a result of their recent virtual tour (Music experts; what is a virtual tour?) they have decided to go into the recording studio and create some new music. A new CD just before Christmas should make TBs Christmas shopping easy for Mrs TB.

I agree as I find their middle of the road 'pop' style much to tame for me. This metal version is good even better, I'm sure, will be that wild animal Lord Opti's thrash metal concert of all the major ABBA hits. I actually have a couple of ABBA cds and quite enjoy listening to them.Led Zeppelin,Black Sabbath etc were not my cup of tea-although I do have a couple of records by Alice Cooper.Making these new recordings may or may not prove to be a mistake-but time will tell on that one.

In reality I really try to avoid wallowing too much in the past.

The first Zeppelin album was a masterpiece that I still revel in, but it's unrealistic to expect another like it. The same applies to many many others, Hendrix, Deep Purple, The Beatles whatever, here goes a potentially huge list. But It's all in the past. By all means continue to enjoy it all, but also . . . . move on.
