The race...
« on: 20 June 2019, 17:09:26 »

I ordered some pads from both ECP (on their economy delivery) and egay last weekend.

Which do you reckon will arrive first?

that's 4 days  :-\
try a false name when ordering , though I suspect the address has markers on the system for "explosive risk" too  :P

he might get the right pads ,or the left pads ,even both, but I doubt they will fit his car ,and probably the wrong axle set
IF they show up at all
Terry has more luck buying astras than TB does getting stuff delivered  :D ;D

ECP delivered yesterday, within the timeframe they suggested for their freebie delivery :)

Still waiting on the egay ones. From a UK seller. Estimated delivery was Thu-Fri.

I've bought a few things on EBay from ECP recently because the price was right and / or they have been discounted, and everything that I ordered arrived quickly and with no problems. I have no issues with them at all.....
Same goes for EBay items from other sellers - always got exactly what I ordered quickly and with no hassle.
I'm certain not every buyer has problems with ECP or EBay!

Had to break my own rule last week and order something from Amazon Marketplace as a gift for someone I'm seeing tomorrow.

Needless to say, it hasn't turned up, and the company involved has become uncontactable.  Supposed to be here Thurs or Fri, dispatch email only came through on Thurs, and with no clues on courier.  So unless its Royal Mail or Hermes, some little chap tomorrow is going to be disappointed, and then there is the hassle of sending the shite back to the seller.

And I'm going to have to change all my plans for today and stay in on the offchance it does get delivered today :(

oppswits. The lot of them.

Well, it aint Royal Mail either. They just had bills for me ;D

I suppose it could be Amazon Logistics - they deliver on Saturdays around here.  But would a Marketplace seller use Amazon Logistics  :-\

No, a marketplace seller would not use amazon logistics. You've had it.

Rather predictable, nothing  >:(.  So my great nephew ain't getting his gift tomorrow.

Worked out why virtually all Amazon Marketplace sellers are scum. Amazon will declare a package is on time as long as it arrives within 3 clear working days of the last specified delivery date - so in this instance, because delivery was stated last Thurs/Fri, its actually not late until next Thurs  >:(. How the fudge does that work.

The vast majority of stuff I order arrives fairly promptly.  Its invariably (UK dispatched) egay or Amazon Marketplace, although euroshite have had their moments in recent times.

Christ, I have shit arrive quicker from China than I do a lot of UK egay sellers.

The package arrived from ECP, with everything I ordered, now to see if they fit at a later date, as they were for stock.

I do feel for TB, he doesn't have much luck with, certain online retailers, must be a black mark on his address,

A pad wear sensor I ordered from China at the same time as the pads turned up this morning, so just over a week. And it did come from China.

That should shame any UK egay seller.
