There is a species of crayfish[marbled] sold as pets-very popular in Germany and Madagascar apparently] that has evolved in only very recent times in such a way as it clones itself.Spawning two or three times a year owners took to releasing those they didn't want/couldn't sell into the waterways where they are "breeding"away and multiplying rapidly.
