I've a KME Gold reducer on my omega.
This and the full kit must be 5 or 6 years old and this is the second car its been on.
I've noticed over the last 6 months or so that the pressure which is normally around 1.1 bar has been fluctuating all over the place getting to the point that I'm plugging the laptop in c/w 4mm allen key drive and having to adjust it up or down on a monthly basis :(
The pressure can be either down as far as 0.9 bar or as like yesterday, up into the 1.30's were it hunts like a bastid at idle and is flat as a wet fart when driving hard :(
Am I looking at a new reducer or is they a repair kit out here ?
OR could it be something else ?
For the record .............. the gas / petrol map is spot on and when its setup around the 1.1 bar mark, it runs great :y

Wonder if the diaphragm has gone wanky? Also check the heavy ends filter is clear.
But I'd wait for one of the LPG gurus to comment before taking too much apart

When you say reducer, is that also known as the vapouriser? :-\
If so, I seem to remember from my LPG days that there is a repair kit for the Prins VSI vapouriser that was on my Omega, which consisted of a new diaphragm and gasket. Maybe there is one for yours as well? :)

I would change any filters first before taking the Vap apart. ;)

Right, which filters are we looking at here ?
As far as I know, there are 2 which are inline between the vaporiser and the injector blocks.
One was changed last spring because it had a leak and the other is only 6000 miles old max.
Am I missing one out here ?

You will probably also have a filter on the liquid inlet to the vapouriser - either a screen internal to the vapouriser or a separate housing.

Come to think about it, there is a round brass filter on the side of the vaporiser that the lpg pipe from the tank is plumbed into ::)

If the pressure is fluctuating, though, rather than just dropping when under load, I'd suspect that the vapouriser needs some TLC. Worth checking the vacuum reference tube into the vapouriser and the pressure sensor, though. It could be that it has perished causing an air leak.
