Can I use it to clone/ store my hard drive contents prior to installing Windows10 before the deadline expires? Simple explanation, please!

First, pick your poison.

Depending on which you pick, depends on the next step. As a general rule, you install the software, setup an account and away you go. Some create a 'cloud' icon within Windows Explorer and data can be copied over to the cloud the same way you would to another drive. Or you set it up to backup your key data areas (My Docs, My Pics, Favourates etc).

Cant help with the technical stuff Ron, but almost daily our icloud partition is full and needs more space buying.  Admittedly cheap.  I have no idea how big it is or what is in it or indeed how much it costs us. It reminds me of the tv house insurance “ Nobody knows” advert ( what spec of locks fitted)
